At first, this blog was going to be called "Hobbies", but as I thought about it and the idea grew in my mind, it became about money. Here's the thought process: I can't wait to get my camera so that I can start my new photography hobby. Unfortunately I do not know much about photography, but I just want to dig in and get my hands dirty and learn along the way. My previous attempt at a pretty cool hobby was DJing. Then, it occurred to me that the reason why I didn't really get into DJing was because it was an enormous amount of money to invest. This became the link between DJing and photography. Money. I've been saving up for my camera and it's finally time to make the purchase. (Soon, hopefully.)
Then it hit me. Why can't I just come up with some get-rich-quick scheme that would allow me to pursue all sorts of hobbies because money will no longer hold me back? Inevitably we all want what we can't have, and a perfectly executed scheme would open the gates. So, here's my idea.
This past winter break I had the pleasure of traveling to Costa Rica. The trip was filled with activities galore, and one of the highlights would have to be zip lining through the rain forest. Flying through the trees, seeing the views, it was amazing. Now, why must the idea of zip lining be confined to the forests? What if you set up zip lining cords through the sky scrapers of San Francisco, where tourists can zip line through the famous San Francisco skyline. Going from rooftop to rooftop of various skyscrapers throughout downtown would be popular for natives and visitors! This idea then branched off to possible roller coasters on top of the buildings such as the ones in Las Vegas. I think these ideas could be a smash hit!
Well, this idea is not entirely thought out, but hey it's a start. Let's hear some of your guys' ideas, I think it'd be fun.
